Aniqart began with a simple longing: to return to the page.

I have always loved writing by hand, the feeling of putting pen to paper and watching a thought become something tangible. In a world increasingly shaped by screens, notifications, and constant noise, I wanted to create something that invites us to pause. To slow down. To make room for the quiet, timeless ritual of writing by hand.

I have also always been drawn to Mughal-era art. I wanted to explore elements of it through my own designs and bring that inspiration into modern everyday life. Something to use, carry, and live with.

And so, Aniqart began.

Where it started: The Khayal Series

The first collection I created was Khayal.

Khayal speaks to a thought, an idea, or a spark of imagination. Inspired by Mughal art, poetry, and Sufi thought, the collection was created as a place for your own thoughts, dreams, and reflections.

What Aniqart is today

Since then, Aniqart has grown into notebooks, journals, planners, and paper goods, each drawing inspiration from different elements of Mughal-era art, from gardens and tulips to jaalis and deep pomegranate reds.

The purpose remains simple: to create beautiful spaces for your thoughts to live. For the things you want to remember, the ideas you want to explore, and the moments when you simply want to slow down and write.
